Mobile Telco in China


China Mobile Limited 中国移动
China Mobile Limited is the largest of its kind in the world. and a state-owned enterprise, it provides mobile voice and multimedia services through its nationwide mobile telecommunications network,  it is listed on both the NYSE and the Hong Kong stock exchange. 

The most valuable mobile telecommunications company in the world. It has the world's largest mobile phone subscriber base, with over 508 million customers, is the largest Chinese company listed overseas and is the largest telecom in Asia in year 2009.

China Mobile offers mobile services in Mainland China under several brands. 
- Easyown  a basic prepaid mobile phone service that is more heavily marketed in rural areas.
- GoTone the flagship brand.
- M-zone a premium prepaid service, targeting the youth demographic.

China Unicom 中国联通
China Unicom or China United Netcom (Hong Kong) Ltd is a telecommunications operator in China.

China Unicom (BVI) Limited effectively holds 40.92% of the company and China Netcom Group (BVI) Limited holds 29.49%, while the remainder is traded on the Shanghai, Hong Kong and the New York stock exchanges. Both majority shareholders are state controlled enterprises.

China Telecom Corp. Ltd 中国电信
China Telecom Corp. Ltd. is the largest fixed line service and 3rd largest mobile telecommunication provider in China.

China Telecom has the largest single WiFi wireless broadband network with over 30,000 hotspot locations covering hotels, restaurants and transportation facilities in over 250 major Chinese cities including Shenzhen, Nanning, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Dalian, Kunming, Wuhan, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chongqing and Guangzhou.

China Tietong Telecommunications Corporation 中国铁通
China Tietong Telecommunications Corporation former name was China Railcom (China Railway Communication Corporation, Limited). It is a major state-owned basic telecommunications operator in China.

China Tietong is the third largest fixed-line internet service provider in China, after China Telecom and China Netcom. China Tietong's main areas of business are providing ADSL and dial-up internet backhaul on their nationwide backbone network, and the company also has a number of fixed-line telephone subscribers. Lacking access to each home, they work very closely with the cable television provider of each major city and usually offer lower price compared to its competitors. 

It Founded on December 20, 2000, on January 20, 2004 it was shifted from the Ministry of Railways of China to the administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, while it was renamed CTT.

China Tietong was taken over by China Mobile Communications Corp, the state-owned parent company of China Mobile on May 23, 2008 . Tietong "will remain relatively independent for the time being according to China Mobile.
