U Mobile is now offering to prepaid subscribers an even lower voice call rate of 12 sen per minute if they call from U Mobile 3G. This offer ends at 31 December 2010.

This applies to any call to all networks, whether fixed or mobile, with no limit to how many local calls. Users would know if this special rate is applied as they'd hear a "beep" before being connected. U Mobile's 3G now covers Klang Valley, Seremban, Port Dickson, Ipoh & Johor Bharu, with more places to follow.

As part of the promotion, U Mobile is holding "Silent Bid" promotional road shows at some hypermarkets. Just sign up for U Prepaid with a RM10 top-up. The highest bidder for the day gets a Sony Ericsson phone worth RM1,699 to RM2,199; & also the equivalent value of his bid with U Mobile top-up vouchers.
