Even at entry level, the IXUS I05 would still please the fussy amateur, Why? Because Canon has upped the zooming by a notch & the resolutions by two notches, not to mention the upping of a whole lot more other notches.
With more than 10 scene modes to pick from & quite a few settings in Program mode, this camera is quite justified in its slightly higher pricing against its competitors.
