Recently DiGi demoed LTE technology at their premises in Shah Alam. The aim was to educate the staff & invited guests about the higher capacity & speed performance of this technology.
Visitors were shown live demonstrations of interactive gaming & fast streaming of high-definition videos on large screen flat-screen flat-panel display. They could also experience the Internet access at 100 Mbps. Huawei assisted in setting up these demos.
DiGi's chief technology officer Ole Martin Gunhildsbu said "Exploring LTE is a natural course of action for us at DiGi as we want to keep our options open as to which future network technology will best support our customers in the long run. It is important for our customers & employees to understand what LTE technology is all about & what it can offer them.
DiGi believes that the demo will create a more exciting way for them to learn more about LTE as well as getting a taste of what they can expect from broadband in the future. This event is also DiGi's response to the government's call to the communications industry to further enhance their service offerings in terms of coverage & affordability".
