Spice CSL has launched a series of 3G & Android phones powered by Qualcomm. They are Blueberry Knight W8000i, W600 & the Spice CSL MI300.
The launch event was attended by Qualcomm executives, Spice CSL's local & overseas, & also Master Key distributors & Key retail partners, & officiated by Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation. There eas also a signing ceremony between Spice CSL, Spice i2i of Singapore & Qualcomm, witnessed by Dato' Mohamed Sharil Bin Mohamed Tarmizi, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Chief Operating Officer. Over 500 guests, Spice CSL's business partners from China, Singapore, India, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Bangledesh, Combodia, Indonesia & Malaysia convened ar Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel.
At the event, Spice CSL previewed for the Oress an upcoming Android device, the MI700, which runs the Qualcomm chipset. The device has a 7-inch touchscreen, WiFi & 3.5G connection. Expect to see this model out in August.
